The PGE 30/48 RICH is a radial spherical plain bearing designed to facilitate oscillating, tilting, and rotating movements in heavy-duty mechanical assemblies. Featuring a 30 mm inner diameter and a 48 mm outer diameter, this bearing is characterized by its steel-on-steel friction pair, which is engineered to withstand significant static loads and alternating heavy dynamic loads. Both the inner and outer rings are manufactured from high-quality bearing steel, hardened and phosphated to enhance wear resistance. The sliding surfaces are treated with a running-in lubricant to ensure smooth initial operation. As a steel-on-steel type, this bearing requires regular maintenance and re-lubrication through the lubrication holes and grooves typically found on the rings. The PGE series is particularly suited for applications where shaft misalignment must be accommodated or where high-frequency tilting occurs, such as in hydraulic cylinders, construction machinery, and steering linkages.
